Creating ringtones on the iphone has been interesting. I had downloaded some ringtones from www.phonezoo.com, but the iphone would not accept them. I downloaded the files, which came in in .wav format. Using Audacity, I managed to export the music file to an Mp3 file, which I then opened as a track in GarageBand, which let me edit it, then "share" it to my iTunes ringtones. I was then able to add it to iPhone. I found that this was also possible using a music CD that I had, to create ringtones for my iPhone.
